Bloddy Mary

Bloody Mary is a popular cocktail containing vodka, tomato juice, and usually other spices or flavourings. The Classic Bloody Mary is a hangover cure and a nutritious breakfast.

Classic Bloody Mary

  • 12 oz. (343 ml) tomato juice
  • 6 oz. (180 ml) vodka
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. prepared horseradish
  • 1 1/2 tsp. (7 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. (10 ml) hot sauce
  • 1 tsp. (5 g) Cajun spices
  • 1/2 tsp. (2.5 g) salt
  • 1/2 tsp. (2.5 g) ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. (1.2 g) cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups (500 g) ice cubes
  • Pickled green beans for garnish
  • Cocktail onions for garnish

  • Put ice cubes into a large mixing glass that can hold at least 24 ounces (450 ml) of liquid, or you can use a cocktail shaker for single serving.

    Add the lemon and lime juice, horseradish, Worcester sauce, hot sauce, Cajun spices, salt and peppers.

    Pour the tomato juice and vodka now. For this use the pouring method to mix the ingredients so that the tomato juice doesn’t get frothy and the spices have a chance to blend.

    Pour your cocktail gently into another mixing glass or cocktail shaker of the same size. Pour slowly so that the ice cubes don’t cause the liquid to spill over the sides of the glass.

    Fill two large glasses with your Bloody Mary.

    Place a pickled green bean and a cocktail onion in each glass and your ‘Bloody Mary’ is ready!!

    Few Tips

  • Make your drink tastier by using fresh juices and freshly ground spices.
  • Substitute pickled okra for garnish in addition to the pickled green beans and cocktail onions for an exciting makeover of Bloody Mary Classic.
  • Wetting the top of your glass with lime juice and ringing the rim with Cajun spices will add an extra tinge to your drink.
